#DoYouWithINEX Pride Month Edition
At INEX, we're excited and proud to be celebrating Pride 2021! This month is all about giving our friends in the LGBTQIA+ community extra love and support. We believe that the first step is to spread awareness by giving people a chance to share their voice and their story. That's why we'll be featuring a few of our INEX babes so that we can all learn more about how to be better allies.

I'm Jermaine but my friends call me Jerms and I'm just me hihi ✨
What was it like coming out and being in an openly LGBTQ+ relationship?
I got mixed reaction from friends and family. I had the usual emotional conversations, some took a while to process the news and some were super supportive. But at the end of the day, the people who truly mattered in my life accepted me for who I am.
Have you ever felt like people treated you differently because of your gender identity?
I'm lucky I haven't experienced any major discrimination towards my gender identity.
But in sports I would sometime have people saying "Kaya nya yan! Lalaki ka naman e!" Sometimes it bugs me because I don't have to be guy to be able to do what I do. I can just be me.
How do you think our fellow Filipinos can be better allies?
We could have a more open heart and mind and treat everyone equally, no matter what they look like or who they choose to be and love. Stop the judgement and hate and just give more love to everyone around. 💗✨
